Last Friday, our Reception children enjoyed a wonderful, albeit very warm, day exploring the African animals they’ve been learning about this half-term. One of the highlights was an exciting train ride around the park, which brought big smiles all around!

The main goals of our visit were to:

• Provide a memorable real-life experience
• Discover fascinating facts about African animals and connect them to the book 'We’re Going on a Lion Hunt'
• Learn about African habitats and the creatures that call them home
