This week, Year 2 were fortunate to welcome Nick from All Saints Church into school to enrich their Religious Education learning. As part of their study of the story of Jonah, the children have been exploring the question, “What do Christians believe God is like?”

Nick shared how Christians worship God within the church community and introduced the children to two worship songs, My Lighthouse and Out of This World. Together, they explored the messages within the lyrics and discussed what they reveal about God. The children thoroughly enjoyed joining in with the singing and learning more about Christian worship.
