On Tuesday 9th November the children in Year 2 visited All Saints Church to learn about Remembrance Day
Remembrance Day is on November 11th
Remembrance Day is on 11 November and marks the day World War One ended, at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month, in 1918. It is an opportunity to remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life in all conflict and wars.

This week's article is linked to World Mental Health Day. This is an international day for global mental health education, awareness and advocacy against social stigma. It was first celebrated in 1992 at the initiative of the World Federation for Mental Health, a global mental health organisation with members and contacts in more than 150 countries.
Each October, thousands of supporters come to celebrate this annual awareness program to bring attention to mental illness and its major effects on peoples' lives worldwide.
