Today the Marlow Museum visited Year 2. They brought in lots of artefacts for the children to look at. 

This visit formed part of the Year 2 history curriculum this half-term, where the children have been finding out how local history is collected. They have been encouraged to ask questions such as 'What was it like for people?' 'How long ago did this happen?

Primary and secondary sources are key to gathering information about what has happened in the past and the Year 2s were able to experience primary sources today through the exploration of artefacts.
