Diwali takes place on 8th November this year. To celebrate the Reception children spent a whole morning yesterday learning all about the festival and its origins. The children enjoyed some Diwali yoga and made some 'diya' lamps from clay. They also created some wonderful Rangoli patterns, which required huge amounts of concentration.
