Sandygate Sunday
On Sunday 26th it will be one of our regular 'Sandygate' Sundays at All Saints Church. We will be taking part in their 10.59 service with some children reading prayers, and we will sing one of our worship songs.
We would love to see as many red jumpers in the congregation as possible to identify them as Sandygate pupils. They should sit with their family during the service and the school staff in church will invite them up at the appropriate times.
Please indicate here if you will attend the service. It is likely to finish at 12 noon.

Mini Marathon
In school during the week commencing 27th April, all the children will be running, skipping and walking 2 miles to promote the importance of movement. The Reception children will be splitting the mileage across the week (so a bit every day) and KS1 children will complete the mileage in their PE lessons. We have taken part in the TCS Mini London Marathon in Schools since it started in 2020, and every year the children have really enjoyed the challenge. Each child will receive a certificate for taking part and, as a school, we will receive a trophy for taking part.
There are always many different reasons why people choose to run the London Marathon and most of the time this is because they want to challenge themselves. We are always encouraging the children at school to rise to a challenge and our Mini Marathon next week will be one such challenge. You can see below some examples of others who have taken on the challenge of the London and Mini London Marathon themselves.

The London Marathon (in its 46th year) takes place on Sunday 26th April and is always inspirational to watch. If you have a chance on Sunday to watch it with your children, please do. It is brilliant!

Parent Carer Chat Launch - School Nursing Team
You should have all received an email today with a letter from Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust School Nursing Service introducing ParentCarerChat, a new text‑based support service for parents and carers of school‑aged children across Buckinghamshire.
ParentCarerChat enables parents and carers to text a qualified member of the School Nursing Team for advice and support on a range of common health and wellbeing concerns, including behaviour, healthy eating and puberty‑related questions. All messages are responded to directly by members of the School Nursing Team.
The letter also outlines some important updates to their toileting and sleep support pathways, including new requirements for pre‑treatment charts, diaries and questionnaires.

Light House Marlow
Light House Marlow are looking for volunteers to help at this year’s Lighthouse Marlow which will run from Monday 3rd – Friday 7th August between 09.00 – 16.00 at St Peter’s School.
They can only run if they have enough volunteers, so please consider volunteering for one of the many roles they have available.
They are particularly keen on Lighthouse Keepers & Age Group Leaders who supervise 10 children supported by our young volunteers (Lamplighters). These are great roles and key to ensuring Lighthouse runs smoothly.
And remember, if you sign up for 3 or more sessions, your child is automatically guaranteed a space for the week!
If you are interested, please register to help now at Lighthouse Marlow 2026 - SignMeUp

The class home pages for the first half of the summer term are now live on the school website. All you need to do is to log in here to access information about the next half-term's curriculum for your child's class and some links on how to support your child with their learning at home.

Drawing Competition!
Don't forget your entries to the drawing competition organised by our Art Councillors.
Each year group were given a simple doodle to take home to turn it into an artistic masterpiece!
Children should be creative and bold when completing their entry for this competition, but they need to remember to put their name and class at the top.
The winner of each year's group will win a large bag of craft!!
This is completely optional, but the drawings have to be back in school by Friday 24th April 2026 to be within a chance of winning!

Marlow Town Regatta and Festival Schools Concert
We have the opportunity again this year to join with other Marlow primary schools to sing at the Regatta Festival on Sunday 14th June. It is a lovely event that children remember for years to come.

We would love, once again, to have a large number of children representing the school on this weekend of festivities. If you would like your child to be involved, please could you fill in the attached form. Initially, the rehearsals will start after Easter within hymn practice time with Mrs Downing. Later in the term, Sheila WIlson, the composer of the songs and the schools' coordinator, will be coming into school to practice with those children who have signed up.
I hope many of you will be able to join in this lovely family event.
